1 さて、ペテロとヨハネとが、午後三時の祈のときに宮に上ろうとしていると、

1 Peter and
John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour1 .
|
|
2 生れながら足のきかない男が、かかえられてきた。この男は、宮もうでに来る人々に施しをこうため、毎日、「美しの門」と呼ばれる宮の門のところに、置かれていた者である。 Acts 14:8; John 9:8;
|
2 A certain
man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid
daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for
the needy of those who entered into the temple. Acts
14:8; John 9:8;
|

3 彼は、ペテロとヨハネとが、宮にはいって行こうとしているのを見て、施しをこうた。
|
3 Seeing
Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the
needy.
|
|
4 ペテロとヨハネとは彼をじっと見て、「わたしたちを見なさい」と言った。
|
4 Peter,
fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
|
|
5 彼は何かもらえるのだろうと期待して、ふたりに注目していると、
|
5 He
listened to them, expecting to receive something from them.
|
|
6 ペテロが言った、「金銀はわたしには無い。しかし、わたしにあるものをあげよう。ナザレ人イエス・キリストの名によって歩きなさい」。 Acts 4:10;
|
6 But Peter
said, “Silver and gold have I none, but what I have, that I give you. In the
name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” Acts
4:10;
|

7 こう言って彼の右手を取って起してやると、足と、くるぶしとが、立ちどころに強くなって、
|
7 He took
him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle
bones received strength.
|
|
8 踊りあがって立ち、歩き出した。そして、歩き回ったり踊ったりして神をさんびしながら、彼らと共に宮にはいって行った。
|
8 Leaping
up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple,
walking, leaping, and praising God.
|
|
9 民衆はみな、彼が歩き回り、また神をさんびしているのを見、
|
9 All the
people saw him walking and praising God.
|
|
10 これが宮の「美しの門」のそばにすわって、施しをこうていた者であると知り、彼の身に起ったことについて、驚き怪しんだ。
|
10 They
recognized him, that it was he who used to sit begging for gifts for the
needy at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. They were filled with wonder and
amazement at what had happened to him.
|
|
11 彼がなおもペテロとヨハネとにつきまとっているとき、人々は皆ひどく驚いて、「ソロモンの廊」と呼ばれる柱廊にいた彼らのところに駆け集まってきた。
|
11 As the
lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran
together to them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
|
|
12 ペテロはこれを見て、人々にむかって言った、「イスラエルの人たちよ、なぜこの事を不思議に思うのか。また、わたしたちが自分の力や信心で、あの人を歩かせたかのように、なぜわたしたちを見つめているのか。
|
12 When Peter
saw it, he responded to the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel at
this man? Why do you fasten your eyes on us, as though by our own power or
godliness we had made him walk?
|
|
13 アブラハム、イサク、ヤコブの神、わたしたちの先祖の神は、その僕イエスに栄光を賜わったのであるが、あなたがたは、このイエスを引き渡し、ピラトがゆるすことに決めていたのに、それを彼の面前で拒んだ。 Matt 27:20; Mark 15:11; Luke 23:18; John 18:40;

13 The God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant
Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he
had determined to release him. Matt 27:20; Mark 15:11; Luke
23:18; John 18:40;

14 あなたがたは、この聖なる正しいかたを拒んで、人殺しの男をゆるすように要求し、
|
14 But you
denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to
you,
|
|
15 いのちの君を殺してしまった。しかし、神はこのイエスを死人の中から、よみがえらせた。わたしたちは、その事の証人である。 Acts 1:8; Acts 2:32;
|
15 and killed
the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses. Acts 1:8; Acts 2:32;
|
|
16 そして、イエスの名が、それを信じる信仰のゆえに、あなたがたのいま見て知っているこの人を、強くしたのであり、イエスによる信仰が、彼をあなたがた一同の前で、このとおり完全にいやしたのである。
|
16 By faith
in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes,
the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the
presence of you all.

|
17 さて、兄弟たちよ、あなたがたは知らずにあのような事をしたのであり、あなたがたの指導者たちとても同様であったことは わたしにわかっている。
|
17 “Now,
brothers2 , I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
|
|
18 神はあらゆる預言者の口をとおして、キリストの受難を予告しておられたが、それをこのように成就なさったのである。 Isa 50:6; Isa 53:5; Luke 24:27;
|
18 But the
things which God announced by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should
suffer, he thus fulfilled. Isa 50:6; Isa 53:5; Luke 24:27;
|
|
19 だから、自分の罪をぬぐい去っていただくために、悔い改めて本心に立ちかえりなさい。 Acts 2:38;
|
19 “Repent
therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there
may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, Acts 2:38;
|
|
20 それは、主のみ前から慰めの時がきて、あなたがたのためにあらかじめ定めてあったキリストなるイエスを、神がつかわして下さるためである。
|
20 and that
he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,
|
|
21 このイエスは、神が聖なる預言者たちの口をとおして、昔から預言しておられた万物更新の時まで、天にとどめておかれねばならなかった。
|
21 whom
heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God
spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets.
|
|
22 モーセは言った、『主なる神は、わたしをお立てになったように、あなたがたの兄弟の中から、ひとりの預言者をお立てになるであろう。その預言者があなたがたに語ることには、ことごとく聞きしたがいなさい。 Deut 18:15; Deut

22 For Moses
indeed said to the fathers, ‘The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you
from among your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him in all things
whatever he says to you. Deut

23 彼に聞きしたがわない者は、みな民の中から滅ぼし去られるであろう』。
|
23 It will
be, that every soul that will not listen to that prophet will be utterly
destroyed from among the people.’3
|
|
24 サムエルをはじめ、その後つづいて語ったほどの預言者はみな、この時のことを予告した。
|
24 Yes, and
all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed after, as many as have
spoken, they also told of these days.
|
|
25 あなたがたは預言者の子であり、神があなたがたの先祖たちと結ばれた契約の子である。神はアブラハムに対して、『地上の諸民族は、あなたの子孫によって祝福を受けるであろう』と仰せられた。 Gen 22:18; Gal 3:8;

25 You are
the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘In your seed will all the families of the earth
be blessed.’4 Gen 22:18; Gal 3:8;
|
|
26 神がまずあなたがたのために、その僕を立てて、おつかわしになったのは、あなたがたひとりびとりを、悪から立ちかえらせて、祝福にあずからせるためなのである」。
|
26 God,
having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you first, to bless you, in
turning away everyone of you from your wickedness.”
